Root Canal Post Treatment Care
Here are some important reminders for patients who have recently had root canal treatment work done:
- Wait until the numbness wears off before eating or drinking anything hot. This will help prevent accidental bites or burns.
- Avoid chewing on the treated tooth until it is fully restored by your dentist.
- Continue to floss and brush your teeth as usual to maintain good oral hygiene.
- If your tooth was filled with a temporary material, it’s normal for a thin layer to wear off between appointments. However, if you notice the entire filling has come out, please contact us.
Rest assured that following these guidelines will help ensure the success of your dental treatment.
